Attendance - School Day

The school gates will open at 8:40am. Children should go straight into their classrooms on arrival. A member of staff will be on duty at the gate to welcome the children and support them as they enter.

The gates will close at 8:55am, when registration begins. If you arrive after this time, please bring your child in through the main entrance. The registers will close at 9:00am. If you have a message for a teacher, please pass it to the member of staff on duty, call in to the office or telephone the school office.

We ask that parents/carers remain with their children until the internal doors are opened at 8.45am. The exception to this is those children in Year 5/Year 6 who have a signed permission slip to walk home independently at the end of the school day.

Any child arriving after this time is logged on the register as late.  At 8.55am the external doors and gates are locked and children arriving after that time need to access the school through our main reception. If your child arrives after 9.10am then they are logged on the register as unauthorised late and this will reflect poorly on their overall attendance record.
