Reverse Advent Calendar
Advent Appeal 2020
This year, throughout Advent, we will again be organising a charity collection of a different type through the ‘Reverse Advent Calendar’. The concept of a ‘Reverse Advent Calendar’ is simple, rather than the usual advent calendar where you open a window each day and receive a chocolate or some other treat, you donate a non-perishable food item or hygiene product to a box which will be located in your child’s classroom. These boxes will then be donated to the local food bank towards the end of the term. You do not need to make a donation each day; however, we aim that each day we will have enough donated items to fill a small, class bubble advent box. The last day for donations will be Tuesday 15th December 2020. Below is a list of suggested items that could be donated each day:-
Items urgently needed*
Long Life Fruit Juice
Toiletries, Tooth Brushes
Sweet Treats And Crisps

In a recent study, over 1.5million food parcels were handed out in the last year to families across the United Kingdom and the Christmas period saw the highest number of these given out.
Thank you all in advance for your support of this this campaign supporting those local families in great need this Christmas Season. If you have any further questions about this, please see either myself or Mrs Robertshaw.
Thank you for your continued support.
