Year Five have been exploring how to use clay. They have spent their theme lessons researching and designing Anglo-Saxon jewellery or weapons and in particular the designs and inscriptions on them. They have 'explored' how to mould clay and attach pieces together successfully. This has all been in preparation for sculpting and painting their piece of jewellery or weapon.
